A buff-tailed bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), a very common species in southern Europe, robbing nectar, which is when an animal collects nectar from a flower without pollinating it. The bee uses its long and slender tongue to reach the space between the flower's sepal and corolla. These bees form annual colonies of which only mated queens survive the winter.
